The September 2012 Issue has Arrived!

Sobriety can be tough sometimes, which is why we can always use a good laugh. In this issue, we feature light and humorous stories by AA members that make us smile. They remind us not to take ourselves too seriously and to strive to be "happy, joyous and free."

In "Holy Order of "Doorknobs?," a newcomer having a tough time with "the Higher Power thing," finally gets a handle on it. Who knew reading the The A.A. Service Manual could be so rewarding? While searching through the Concepts one day, two service-minded alcoholics get a pleasant surprise in "The Hiding Place." Sick with a hangover in church one Sunday, an alcoholic tries to make it out the door, but instead meets divine intervention in "Heave Ho!"
